Attica, Ind – Charles A. Eviston who served three terms as mayor of Attica died Sunday night in a Veterans’ Administration hospital at Hines, Ill, it was learned here yesterday. He was 73 years old. Mr. Eviston was Attica’s mayor from 1935-1947. He was a Republican. During the last several years, he was personnel director of Harrison Steel Castings Company.  Funeral services will be held here at 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Eviston residence. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Ruth Nave Eviston; three brothers, Albert Evison, Cleveland, O; James Eviston, Miami, Fla and Frank Eviston, Kansas City, Mo. And a sister, Mrs. James Claitor, Galveston, Tx. – kbz
